I'm not aware of any significant problems with the list at the
present. There were problems that affected a small number of people when I
converted the list last month, but things seem to have settled down. There
ARE some continuing problems with the "Mailman" web interface to the list,
both for user accounts and administrative chores, but these should not
affect on the list server itself. Unfortunately, Mailman is very new
software and still a bit buggy. But the new list server is very stable and
much faster than the old one.

It has been a bit quiet and I'm just guessing that people are resting up
from their vacations, or squirreling away their nuts for the winter...

But, if anyone is having any problems posting to the list, please let James
or I know:

If you think you aren't receiving postings to the list, one quick check is
to go the archive and see when the last message was posted. Messages are
added to the archive as soon as they are posted. (You'll need to enter
your email address and password to enter the archive)
