I thought I would share this with Y'all. I was looking for a good way to blacken the rear element barrel of a 180mm Symmar I had just picked up for a song. One of the old convertible jobs in a Compur #1 (I know that Copal shutters have pretty much taken over, but there is something about a real Compur........) Anyway...............I needed some flat black paint and I couldn't really use spray paint as I did not want to risk any overspray on the glass. I found small cans of Rustoleum brand flat black paint. As it turns out it sticks to brass like crazy, and I suspect any other metal or wood, and it comes in small cans that are just right for painting the inside of a camera or something you don't want to spray.

becomes not-shooting, a shooting without

pupil again, the Master a beginner, the end
a beginning, and the beginning perfection."
