Try using a wooden cigar box instead of foam core. They come in sizes(focal
lengths) from about an 1 1/2" to 7 or so inches. They are available & a bit
more sturdy than foam core...

I'm waiting for my 6x9 holder to arrive. I don't think that my pinhole front
will be as fancy as yours, will just have to wait and see. To start out with
I'm planning to make my body out of black foam core. I'm already in for
$89.00 for the holder. I don't know if I paid to much or not, but 6x9 holder
seem to be hard to find.
