RE: posting of images to the list?

Thanks to everyone for the feedback. I didn't want to spend too much time with yet another administrative issues, but I believe the list should serve the interests of all. There have been several good arguments why we should NOT send images in postings, so I think we should continue our old policy of not sending image files to the list. Technically, I can no longer block anyone from doing so (as I could in the old list). And that was part of the reason I posted a test image this morning. But, I am able to set the maximum size of any message to something small enough to discourage the posting of images (yet still large enough to allow a small novel).

Anyone wanting to share image files with the list still has many options:

   - upload it or email it to one list's galleries,

   - invite list members to "reply directly to you" and then email the image directly to that list member,

   - contact one of the many list members who have offered to share web space.

I hope this is agreeable to all.

Thanks again, over and out, back to work...

Gregg :-)
