Snipped

Sidney, one of the easiest ways to prepare the paper for being a
final support is to brush coat the paper with 6 percent gelatin
solution. Two or three coats may be needed. With the 300g stock, iI
would bet on 3. Allow to dry between coats. After all of the coats
are on, then harden either in an alum bath or with an aldehyde such
as formalin (well ventilated area - like outdoors!) or glyoxal. If
the support is for double transfer, you do not need to harden.

Happy printing

Howard
