We've started a section on new things being discovered about carbon printing
at www.carbonprinting.com.
As of late, the thing we are working on is ink jet papers. The Carbon Study
Group decided to revisit ink jet papers as a final support for carbon.
Howard and I did some work on this a couple of years ago and found them
wanting. We got a lot of fog and one of them that Howard was using shed the
surface in the water. Since we have lowered the pigment ratio, the fog is
virtually gone. The shedding may have just been the one brand of paper.
If you have tried any microporous ink jet papers, please report to us any
successes or failures and we will post them on the site.
If you have any tips or tricks you'd like to share please post those as
well.
You can email me at richsul@earthlink.net or sign up on the forum and post
them there.
Cheers.
