But I'm feeling better....(I do like Monty Python!)
You have good points, Peter. But while I do not consider the List dead, it
is an older form of internet communication and folks have grown accustomed
to the newer ways of online communication. A way for folks to easily search
for information -- either thru a seach function, or by looking for info
entered under specific topics (such as "Tissue Formulas" and ""Spirit
Sensitizing", and "Frilling") would be great.
The process has been descriped in great depth on the List -- but those
descriptions are buried in the Archives -- and not necessarily following the
subject line of the posts...bits and pieces scattered in the archives.
One thing we will need to keep an eye out for is creating a "Bible" of
carbon printing. One aspect of carbon printing I enjoy is the variations of
methods and results that this process creates. Sandy and I seem to
generally work the same process, but our actual methods, formulas and
results are quite different. What we need to avoid is the "Livick Effect",
that is, people insisting that their way is the ONLY way to achieve the
proper results.
