I would like to get everyone's take on bubbles. That is the eensy weensy
ones. Some of the students seem to get them no matter what they do. In
most cases they show up in the mid-tones. It's not in the tissue as the
next sheet of tissue from the same roll will not have them. My own
suspicions are they result from not squeegeeing hard enough on the first
swipe. Does print size have anything to do with the phenom? Some of the
students get them on 5x7's so size seems to be out though maybe big
prints carry more water to the squugee table?? Hmm.. We don't see them
when prints are laid on to sized art paper and in the recent cases only
on Yupo. Can't say whether or not they occur on fixed out photo paper as
we are not using that at this time. These are small bubbles. In many
cases they can only be seen in raking sunlight -- well at least with my
eyes. The kids can see them from across the room but they are tiny.
Things have been dead here for a while. Just thought I'd pick everyone's
brain on this. I know we have been down this road many times before but
there may be some new revelations to be had.
Cheers.
