Sandy and Vaughn,
If you use a tissue with a 'plastic' support how do you make your tests for
carbon. For me is was a major disadvantage using non-paper tissue. With a
paper backing I just cut it into the piece I need for testing.

Vaughn,
I have the problem covered for the moment. About a year or so ago I
bought a fairly large stock of Lenox paper, 22X29" for Pt./Pd.
printing, based on performance of a previous batch. However, the new
stuff is not nearly as good so I need to dispose of it. I have
already made a few large tissues with the whole sheets and was able
to pick each of them up and deposit on a drying rack. As I recall,
the paper was only about $1 a sheet so it is fairly economical.
However, it is fairly thick stock and while I won't have trouble with
it in my vacuum frames it might be too stiff for use in a contact
printing frame.
Sandy
