To all,

A happy holiday season. Just now heading off to Carlsbad, NM. The kids are
off the Pac coast for the holidays so Mel and I are going south to the Pecos
for a few days.

If and when I ever finish my carbon book you will all see a big hat tip to
this forum. Also to others here who have been a great help to me through my
4+ years of adventure.

Thanks to Howard, Sandy and Vaughn -- especially!

I am pretty excited about the vacation. My wife and I will be meeting
up tomorrow in eastern Tennessee for a few days of celebration with
close relatives from parts far and wide, including some folks we have
not seen in more than two decades.

Probably won't have much to say on the forum for a while, but my best
