  Your silent list host checking in.
  
  I've just forwarded three of Dick Sullivan's bounced messages to
  the list, and resubscribed him. For some reason, he unsubscribed
  an address, yet continues to post from that address.
  
  Which brings me to the only real rule of this list: you have to
  post from an address you're subscribed under.
  
  If we didn't have this rule, you'd be getting close to 100 penny
  stock & penis enlargement solicitations every day. Truly, the list
  software deflects that many, and I have to wade through that muck
  to see if there are any messages that should be allowed, like these
  recent three of Dick's. I do this every day, even during the list's
  many months of dormancy, and while I don't think that I've ever
  missed a valid one, things all run a lot smoother when people post
  from a valid address.
  
  I'll take this opportunity to wish you all happy holidays. I'm
  always pleased to see life on the list.
