You got me. The negative is taped to a mask that has a window cut in
it. The mask is taped to the glass of the contact frame. The
negative is always in the same position each time I make a test
print, so I know I haven't flipped it.

I made a tissue tonight using watercolor (Sepia) only, no india ink.
We'll see what happens. You mentioned that you just got back from
Yosemite. I hope you made some nice negatives. I'm heading there
tomorrow. Yes, the weather is awful, but my fiancee insists that we
go. Hopefully there will be a long enough break in the rain so that
I can click the shutter a few times. I don't know how you manage
with the 11X14. I'm leaving my 8x10 behind because it's so bulky.
It's a lot of work dragging that thing around, so I'm bringing the 4x5.
