Sumi Ink Problem

Hello -

I've been making tissue using india ink with no problems due to the
india ink. I decided to try using Sumi ink. The result was
disastrous. I tried several times with the same result: an
extremely blurry/grainy image. You can see it here: http://

I used the exact same formula and working procedures for making
tissue with Sumi ink as I use when using india ink. I went back to
using india ink tonight, but won't know the result until I print with
that tissue tomorrow. I doubt there will be any problem, as I've
used india ink without issue. Here's the formula I used:

Water: 250ml
Sugar: 12 gm
Sumi/india ink: 8 ml
Gelatin: 25 gm

Any idea's?
