Hi,
I'm about to begin my carbon transfer adventure and would be happy if
you could give me advice in tissue preparation.
I live in Rio and temperatures get pretty high theses days (around 90°F
with 60-80% rH ).
Thanks by the way to the members having given me solutions about keeping
liquids involved at low temps.
Regarding the composition of the gel-mix, I imagine the weather
conditions have a major influence, especially the rH.
In my lab I can get temperatures down to about 75°F, maybe even a little
less. I have gelatin of various bloom strength ranging from 120 / 160 /
250 made from cowhide and
I use lamp black as pigment.
Reading the list, the sugar / glycerin ratio seems to play an important
role in tissue prep. What would be a good material (tissue) to receive
the coating?
If you have experience in similar conditions, I would be happy to
receive information about recipes that worked out well for you.
Thanks in advance,
Sidney
