I live in the southeast USA where it is very hot
and humid in the summer, actually from the
beginning of May to the end of September. We keep
the house at around 72F with air conditioning and
it is easy enough to work carbon at that
temperature. Just make sure that you sensitized
with the solution fairly cold. I use it right out
of the refrigerator at about 45F.The major
problem I have in working carbon in the summer
months is lack of cool water, since during 3-4
months the tap water at my house is between
75-80F. I can pull enough from the refrigerator
to make one or two prints but I generally avoid
heavy printing of carbon at this time.
