4 hours drying time 16%gel 5% sugar and I'm going to try 3% 1% gly
800 fpm air at 60 to 70% r.h. in my drying cabinet 73+/- f.
low temp, High air flow, High r.h. is the key for drying.
This goes back to the old roto gravure dry carbon tissue specs.
4%dichromate did I say more???
6% will give you the longest straight line curve, but to flat for most negs.
8% you get wiped Jell-O.
I am now doing a ejection type mould for making my plate, my Gel is 2mm
thick, after drying about 15,000 of an inch. no chilling, but letting it set
for 30 min. in mold. Woodbury.......
