Two more questions.

Sandy, what effect can I expect by adding the aforementioned ammonia to
dichromate?

Why would someone (Kemal) put a hardener (thymol) in their mix. My
understanding is that this would be used only to preserve or harden. And we
dont want the gelatin mix on the tissue to be hardened. I understand the
amount he is using is very small. Probably has little or no effect as a
hardener, but, then why?
