Thanks very much. Your results for density without stain are exactly the same as mine though I read them with a blue filter on a black and white desitometer. My test negatives are a lot more dense then I thought because my densitometer doesn't read the stain.
From your measurements I can more ore less estimate the densities of higher values. But the proof is the pudding.
